A thoughtful and reliable psychotherapy service providing a calm and confidential space for children, adolescents and parents

TORY DEAN

BA (Hons), PgDip, MA

Welcome to Westcroft Psychotherapy

My name is Tory Dean, I’m a qualified and experienced psychotherapist working with children, teenagers and parents. I work in a warm and supportive way, offering a confidential space in welcoming rooms in the South West London region, or online. I work together with the child or young person I am seeing to understand and help change difficult emotional states and situations.

I provide both short and long-term individual therapy, with appointments taking place once a week for fifty minutes. I work collaboratively and generally meet regularly with the parents of children and young people that I see. I offer weekday appointments as well as Saturday mornings and some early mornings and evenings.

I am registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists (TSP). I hold an enhanced DBS certificate.

Beginning therapy can feel hard, even scary. But it’s also a potential new start, and one with a lot of hope, and that can bring the energy for change to you and your family.
Stacking Blocks

I undertake work with children of all ages, using play, art and observation as a way of gently understanding and uncovering what might be going on for them in their life.

Girl in Therapy

Working with young people up to the age of nineteen, I have found that these years can be challenging and lonely for many adolescents. Working this through in therapy can provide much needed stability at a time of great emotional and physical change.

Being a parent can have its complications, especially if your child or adolescent is struggling and your situation feels uncertain or even worse, hopeless. Being able to speak openly and honestly, without judgment can bring relief and a new sense of freedom to parenting
